Lois Viola Marie

Little Bun is here! Her name is Lois Viola Marie -- named for Lois in the Bible and her two great-grandmothers. She was born at 8:30 after a 2 1/2 hour labor -- we almost didn't make it to the birth center!
Weight: 9 lbs, 1 oz
Length: 21 inches 

She never really cried. She spent the first few hours after birth softly whimpering. This picture was taken after her first bath, which calmed her down.

She was  home and in her own bed 4 hours later. 

Two days later, big sister Mary Rose proudly rides next to her new sister for the first time. She chatted to her for the whole ride, and later, she sang to her.
