Skyscrapers - Jeremiah's project

Jeremiah has been studying skyscrapers this semester. We took his semester project from the book he's been reading, Skyscrapers! 

 Beginning to piece together marshmallows and toothpicks 

 

The idea was to see how strong of a "skyscraper" he could build. 

 

First layer is done!

 

We stopped at three levels. He was pretty proud of himself, in case you can't tell :)

 

Then came the testing. First, he tried a bowl. It still stood.

 

 

Then he tried a pen. And it still stood.

 

But the book was just a little too much. It squashed it flat. Then the boy ate the marshmallows!

Finally, he drew up a report :)
